What warranty comes with my product?
The following component warranty cover applies to defects in materials or workmanship for eligible purchases made on or after 23 March 2026, unless different product-specific terms were clearly disclosed and agreed before purchase. Purchases made before 23 March 2026 retain the warranty terms and any specific promises provided at sale. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
- Structural, frame and mechanical components: 3 years.
- Electrical and electronic components, including motors, controllers and displays: 2 years.
- Lithium batteries: 3 years.
- AGM and gel batteries: 1 year.
Normal wear, routine maintenance and normal battery ageing are not manufacturing defects. Damage caused by accidents, misuse or inadequate care may also be excluded where it caused the problem.
Our warranty is additional to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act, which may continue after the warranty period ends.
See our Returns, Refunds & Product Warranty Policy for full details.
Is rust or salt-water damage covered?
Corrosion protection helps, but it does not make a vehicle corrosion-proof. Salt water, salt spray and wet sand require extra care, including prompt cleaning using the method approved for your model, thorough drying and regular inspection.
Our express warranty excludes corrosion and associated damage caused by environmental exposure or inadequate care, rather than a manufacturing defect. Corrosion caused by defective materials, workmanship or factory coatings remains eligible for assessment. An unrelated fault is not automatically excluded because corrosion is present elsewhere.
Please discuss regular beach use or coastal storage with us before purchasing so we can advise on suitability and care. Do not drive through seawater, surf or tidal pools unless expressly permitted by the model-specific instructions.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Email electrify@eveast.co.nz with your purchase details, the model, a description of the problem and photographs where useful.
We’ll assess the issue and explain the next steps. Please contact us before arranging repairs or sending back a vehicle or battery. Any proposed charges outside warranty and statutory cover will be explained and agreed before chargeable work begins.

What about Batteries?
Batteries are the Heart of your Ride
Whether it’s your mobility scooter, your Veehop ATV, or your Kaaspeed golf ride — the battery is the real engine behind the scenes.
But not all batteries are created equal… and they don’t all like to be treated the same.
Look for an agent or retailer in your area.
